Overview

What AXEL Medical does

AXEL Medical is focused on providing clinics with quality medical goods, matched to what each clinic needs, and on bringing innovative rehabilitation and medical technology to the Australian market.

Clinicians use medical and rehabilitation equipment every day. We see quickly what works, what breaks and what patients will actually use at home. That experience decides which products we choose, how we specify them and which new products are worth designing.

Regulation and quality

Doing it properly in Australia

Some rehabilitation products, such as general exercise equipment, are not regulated as medical devices. Products that are medical devices must be included in the Australian Register of Therapeutic Goods (ARTG) before they can be supplied, and AXEL Medical follows that requirement.

We will not describe a product as TGA-approved, or make a therapeutic claim about it, unless it is entitled to that claim.

Included in the ARTG before they are supplied.
Claims
Only what the product’s regulatory status and evidence support.
Labelling
English labelling with accurate country of origin, meeting Australian Consumer Law.
